Advancing the Caliber of Cancer Care in the Keene Region
The Norris Cotton Cancer Center Keene at Kingsbury Pavilion is convenient, private, and close to home for families and patients, who, otherwise, would be forced to travel great distances for daily care. Thankfully, the continued financial support of the Kingsbury Cancer Fund and Patient Relief Fund allows us to expand the scope and sophistication of care. A few months ago, we installed electronic prescribing for chemotherapy, increasing the safety, accuracy, and science of medical treatment. Last year, we installed a new CT scanner allowing us to increase the precision of radiation treatments. Next, we hope to replace our linear accelerator, the multimillion dollar machine that dispenses radiation. The monies raised from Bald is Beautiful keep sophisticated cancer care close to home and help support those patients who are burdened financially during their cancer treatments.
