Together Jean, Rebecca, Bruce, Kristie, Meghan, and Christine implement the mission of the Friends Board of Directors.
Jean Brown, Executive Director
Jean and her administrative team raise money and awareness for Norris Cotton Cancer Center. She works with two boards and multiple committees that provide critical help in producing and supporting events such as The Prouty, The Prouty Ultimate, Green Mountain Motorcycle Ride, Friends Fighting Cancer 5K, and many more! Additionally, Jean works with Christine Telge, the Friends coordinator in Manchester, NH, to support the Friends of Norris Cotton Cancer Center South board. Prior to joining the Friends, Jean marketed consumer and food products in New York City.
Rebecca Gray, Senior Program Manager
Rebecca Gray's primary responsibilities involve registration for, and the website of, the Friends' signature event, The Prouty. She also is responsible for the Reach for the Peaks series of mountaineering/hiking events and supports other events that benefit the Cancer Center. Rebecca also helps manage public relations, marketing, board relations and development of the Friends group in Manchester, NH. In addition to lobbying for cancer issues in Washington, D.C., on behalf of Susan G. Komen for a Cure, Rebecca represented New Hampshire as a U.S. delegate at the Global Summit on Breast Cancer in Budapest, Hungary, in 2007. She is a 18-year breast cancer survivor and served as a consumer reviewer for the Department of Defense and several grant applications by Norris Cotton Cancer Center researchers.
Bruce Bouchard, Prouty Operations Director
Prouty Bike, Walk, Row and Golf event. He coordinates a wide range of collaborative services and personnel, ensuring all aspects of route logistics and safety are in place to produce a safe and successful event. A true team player, Bruce also steps up to help with logistics for our many other year-round events.
Kristie LeBlanc, Program Manager
Kristie manages the graphics of The Prouty and other events that support the Friends by working with graphic vendors or creating the designs herself. The mission of the Friends would be impossible without the support of hundreds of volunteers and Kristie enjoys her role as the volunteer coordinator of these generous people. She also facilitates community interaction via the Friends and Prouty social media channels.
Meghan Agars, Finance and Administrative Coordinator
Christine Pariseau-Telge, Program Coordinator
Christine is the Coordinator for the Friends of Norris Cotton Cancer Center South, located in Manchester and Nashua, NH. In this position, Christine helps raise community visibility and creates fundraising opportunities for both of these regional facilities. Her Manchester base has enabled her to become essential to logistic planning and stewardship of the Prouty Ultimate. A life-long Manchester resident, Christine founded the Friends Fighting Cancer 5k road race. Now she's working to build broad support for the Cancer Center, especially in the Manchester and Nashua business communities.
