Fun-filled day raising money for local cancer patients. Join us for our annual 5K, then the Fisher Cats game. Proceeds from both events will benefit Dartmouth-Hitchcock Norris Cotton Cancer Center. All registered runners will get a game day ticket. Additional tickets are available for only $12, with a portion of each ticket going to the Cancer Center.
The Friends 5K run/walk started in 2008 as a way for friends to support a fellow runner as he went through cancer. They wanted to take action against cancer—to DO something about this terrible disease that had struck their friend and touches so many. It seemed especially fitting to create a race that raised money to benefit the Friends of Norris Cotton Cancer Center at Dartmouth-Hitchcock. This year the race will showcase the Manchester Millyard and all that it has to offer.
Visit the friends5k.org site for information and to sign up!
