Friends Lecture Series

The Friends Distinguished Lecture in Cancer Science brings eminent guest lecturers in the fields of cancer basic sciences to speak at Norris Cotton Cancer Center.

The Lectureship aims to enrich perspectives on the problems of cancer for students, faculty, and the community at large through stimulating lectures by the intellectual leaders in these fields.

This lectureship was established at Norris Cotton Cancer Center in honor of the significant contributions made to cancer research and patient care by participants in the Prouty Century Ride & Challenge Walk each year.

As part of its commitment to the community, The Friends is also proud to present a lecture series called The Friends of Norris Cotton Cancer Center Presents: Conversations on Cancer. These annual "Conversations" with the public feature eminent speakers addressing the problems of cancer from the various perspectives of patient, survivor, researcher, family, clinician, scientist, community member.
