Seeds of Hope | Fashion Fundraiser
The Friends of Norris Cotton Cancer Center, with the support of Southern New Hampshire University, will host its annual “Seeds of Hope” fashion show to raise funds for patient services and cancer research at Dartmouth's Norris Cotton Cancer Center. Last year, this event raised almost $20,000, with a four year total of over $80,000, for patient services and cancer research at Norris Cotton Cancer Center.
The event will be held on Friday, May 4, 2018 at the Manchester Downtown Hotel (formerly the Radisson) and will showcase outfits and designs from unique Southern New Hampshire clothiers. Dozens of volunteer models, including current Dartmouth's cancer patients and survivors, will strut their stuff on the catwalk and show off stunning pieces of fashion in a fun and festive evening.
Festivities will begin at 7:00 pm with feature cocktails, desserts elegantly prepared by local restaurateurs, a silent auction, and live music. Tyler and Lauren Sullivan, from Sullivan Beauty, will serve as the Master and Mistress of Ceremonies.
Dartmouth's Norris Cotton Cancer Center has 15 locations throughout New England and Vermont, including centers at Notre Dame Pavilion in Manchester and at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Clinic in Nashua. This nationally recognized cancer facility combines advanced cancer research from Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth with patient-centered cancer care at Dartmouth-Hitchcock, and is one of only 49 Comprehensive Cancer Centers as designated by the National Cancer Institute.
