Buy Me Some Peanuts and Cancer Research

Support the Cancer Center and the New Hampshire Fisher Cats at Survivor's Night, June 9, in Manchester as the 'Cats take on the Bowie Baysox.

How often can you take yourself out to the ballgame and support cancer research at the same time?

Join the Cancer Center for a night at the ol' ballgame and support cancer research at the same time, June 9.

Northern New England baseball fans will have a chance to do just that on Survivor's Night at the New Hampshire Fisher Cats game on Saturday, June 9. Four dollars from every box-seat ticket sold for the 7:05 p.m. game will go to Friends of Norris Cotton Cancer Center and their support for cancer research at the Cancer Center. Survivor's Night is being held in conjunction with National Cancer Survivor's Week and National Cancer Survivor's Day, June 3.

The 'Cats, a Double-A class affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays and 2011 Eastern League champions, will be playing the Bowie Baysox from Maryland, the Double-A class affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles.  It'll be great baseball inside the "friendly confines" of Northeast Delta Dental Stadium in downtown Manchester, N.H., one of the nicest and well-appointed ballparks in New England. Don't forget to stay for the post-game fireworks.

For more information and for tickets, contacts the Friends' southern director, Christine Telge, at (603) 703-6955 or christine.a.pariseau-telge@hitchcock.org. Tickets can also be purchased online at www.nhfishercats.com. Click on the "Group Outings" tab, select the SPECIAL OFFER CODE TICKETS option, then use NORRIS in the space provided for the special offer code.
