National Cooperative Clinical Trials Organizations
The Cancer Center has been an important contributor to the functioning of the following cooperative groups:
- American College of Surgeons Oncology Group (ACOSOG). Dr. Richard Barth is the principal investigator for the ACOSOG clinical trials at the Cancer Center.
- Cancer and Leukemia Group B (CALGB). Dr. Konstantin Dragnev is the principal investigator for the CALGB cooperative group clinical trials at the Cancer Center and provides committee and protocol leadership within CALGB.
- Children's Oncology Group (COG). Dr. Sara Chaffee is the principal investigator for the COG cooperative group clinical trials at the Cancer Center.
- Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group (ECOG). Dr. Camilo Fadul is the principal investigator for the ECOG cooperative group clinical trials at the Cancer Center.
- Gynecologic Oncology Group (GOG). Dr. Leslie DeMars is the principal investigator for the GOG cooperative group clinical trials at the Cancer Center, through an affiliation with the University of North Carolina.
- Radiation Therapy Oncology Group (RTOG). Dr. Alan Hartford is the principal investigator for the RTOG cooperative group clinical trials at the Cancer Center.
