The Center for Shared Decision Making
Program Director: Kate Clay, MA, BSN
The Center for Shared Decision Making helps when you need to make a difficult healthcare decision. At times it can be hard to decide whether to have surgery, to have a test, or to continue with treatment. Shared decision making is a collaboration between patients and caregivers that helps you come to an agreement about a healthcare decision. It is especially useful when there is no clear "best" treatment option.
To find out more about the Center for Shared Decision Making, visit their website, stop by their offices at DHMC, call (603) 650-5578, or email shared-decision-making@blitz.hitchcock.org.
