Lymphoma & Leukemia Program
Focus on Lymphoma & Leukemia
Part of a nationally recognized cancer research and treatment center, our comprehensive program includes both doctors and cancer scientists, so we can offer patients options based on our latest scientific discoveries and clinical trials of new approaches to treatment. We collaborate closely with the referring physician and other care providers, and offer services region-wide to provide advanced, integrated care throughout northern New England. Every patient receives expert, accurate diagnosis, a tailored treatment plan, and compassionate care that includes a range of patient- and family-centered services.
Our highly trained specialists focus solely on hematologic malignancies and are experienced in diagnosing and treating even the most rare and complicated disease. This level of expertise is particularly important for young patients, and those whose cancer has relapsed or is presenting in unusual areas such as the bones or central nervous system.
With a direct connection to our Blood & Marrow Transplantation Program and a comprehensive range of medical and supportive services, the Lymphoma and Leukemia Program offers the most advanced and compassionate care available in the region.
- Our team of experts: Our specially trained pathology experts are able to accurately diagnose even the most rare types of blood cancers. They are an integral part of an interdisciplinary team of specialists who focus solely on hematologic malignancies and together deliver the very best treatment for patients, even those with the most complex and difficult-to-treat disease.
- Clinical trials: Innovative clinical trials test new approaches with the potential to improve patient outcomes, such as changing the timing of drug delivery or the combination of drugs used. Other clinical trials test new immunotherapies that are trying to use the immune system to prevent relapse.
- Patient- and family-centered care: We understand that whenever one person receives a cancer diagnosis, the entire family is affected. Our integrated cancer care includes a range of education and support services for patients and families as well as survivor and palliative care.
- Convenient and close to home: Our advanced care is available through our central Lebanon, NH location, but patients also can elect to receive chemotherapy and/or radiation in one of our convenient regional locations.
