A free program for patients and caregivers to help with side effects from current or prior treatment for cancer.
One hour sessions are offered twice monthly and are intended to address a variety of cancer symptoms. Sessions are taught by community partners in collaboration with health care providers, patient volunteers and family members.
The program is a joint collaboration between Dartmouth-Hitchcock Manchester, Norris Cotton Cancer Center and Elliot Regional Cancer Center for any patient with any type of cancer, regardless of where care is received. This program is made possible through support from Dr. Patel's Pink Warrior Fund, volunteers and space provided by Dartmouth-Hitchcock Manchester and Elliot Hospital. Other offerings and additional times will be added depending upon patient needs and requests.
