Whether a volunteer or an administrator, the people behind the scenes make a difference at the Friends of Dartmouth Cancer Center.
Administrative team
Jaclynn Rodriguez, Executive Director
Jaclynn and the Friends team raise vital funds and awareness for Dartmouth Cancer Center. Jaclynn works with the Friends of Dartmouth Cancer Center Board of Directors, as well as numerous volunteer committees that provide critical help in producing and supporting community fundraising events and efforts such as The Prouty, Friends Fighting Cancer, and many more. Jaclynn builds relationships with donors, corporate partners, and volunteers to help further this mission of the Friends. Prior to joining the Friends, Jaclynn served as the director of development at the Rivkin Center for Ovarian Cancer, a partner of Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, WA. She also oversaw the endurance events fundraising program at the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Washington and Alaska Chapter and served as a national director for OP3, where she helped raise an average of $45 million each season managing the nine-city, multi-day fundraising Avon Walk for Breast Cancer series benefiting the Avon Foundation for Women.
Bruce Bouchard, Prouty Operations Director
Bruce manages The Prouty bike, walk, row, and golf events. He coordinates a wide range of collaborative services and personnel, ensuring all aspects of route logistics and safety are in place to produce a safe and successful event. A true team player, Bruce also steps up to help with logistics for our many other year-round events.
Sarah Markwell, Senior Events & Development Manager
Sarah joined the Friends of Dartmouth Cancer in 2017. She is the staff lead for communications, data analysis, Prouty Gear, and registration and supports the Prouty Ultimate Committee. Sarah also manages the Friends Fighting Cancer and Team Tennis to Smash Cancer initiatives.
Heidi Allen Goodrich, Creative Services & Development Manager
Heidi is the graphic designer for the Friends. She's been with the team since 2018, creating visuals for The Prouty, all Friends events, and all Cancer Center development collateral, including production of The Prouty Chronicle. She is the volunteer coordinator for the Friends, and manages hundreds of volunteers for The Prouty and other events. Heidi also manages Crush Cancer and Your Trainer.
Dominic Lord, Events Manager
Dominic joined the Friends of Dartmouth Cancer Center in January 2023. Dominic helps the Friends to plan, support, and execute the Prouty event. Dominic works with Friends Board members, volunteers, committees, team captains, participants, donors, and community members. Prior to joining the Friends, Dominic served as the senior development coordinator at Grassroot Soccer, Hanover, NH.
Chris McCown, Events & Logistics Coordinator
Chris joined the Friends of Dartmouth Cancer Center in December 2022. His primary role is logistics for The Prouty Ultimate. Chris has worked in the cycling industry for years and brings a wealth of knowledge to the team.
Board of Directors
The Friends Board of Directors consists of individuals, donors, survivors, and community volunteers who support the growth and mission of the Cancer Center.
Board members attend bi-monthly meetings, lead or actively participate on a committee, assume board/committee leadership roles of Friends projects and activities, have an awareness of their community, and are willing to network within that community on behalf of Dartmouth Cancer Center. Board members become informed about Cancer Center programs and services, bring new members to the Friends at large and participate in fundraising activities of the Friends of Dartmouth Cancer Center.
