The Center for Shared Decision Making helps when you need to make a difficult health care decision.
At times it can be hard to decide whether to have surgery, to have a test, or to continue with treatment. Shared decision making is a collaboration between patients and caregivers that helps you come to an agreement about a health care decision. It is especially useful when there is no clear "best" treatment option.
