The 43rd annual Prouty is closing in on its $8 million goal to support life-saving cancer research and family support services for Dartmouth Cancer Center. Registration is still open for New England’s largest family-friendly fundraising event, where participants can participate in cycling, walking or rowing on July 13 or the Prouty Ultimate (two days of cycling throughout New Hampshire and Vermont) on July 12-13.
The event also features a new 18-mile mountain bike route and the return of the 5K wooded walk option. Virtual participation is also available and donations will have double the impact, thanks to a dollar-for-dollar match from the Jack and Dorothy Byrne Foundation.

This fundraising event also enables important and meaningful services that assist patients and their families beyond medicine as they navigate their cancer journey.”
The Prouty began in 1982 when four Dartmouth Cancer Center nurses, inspired by the courage of their patient, Audrey Prouty, committed to cycling 100 miles through the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Since then, thousands of passionate individuals have come together to bike, walk, row, golf, and more to help end cancer each year. Since its inception, the Prouty has raised more than $67 million to support cancer research and patient support services.
