Oncology training at University of Rwanda College of Medicine and Health Sciences
Extending their commitment to oncology training in Rwanda, Drs. Steve Bensen, Mary Chamberlin and more than 20 other Dartmouth faculty are continuing to serve as mentors and consultants in oncology for the University of Rwanda College of Medicine and Health Sciences.
Their relationship began in 2011 with training residents and medical students as part of the Human Resources for Health program and that continued through 2018.
Now, Dr. Bensen is founding a GI Fellowship program at the University, and the Dartmouth Cancer Center team is creating an oncology curriculum for the GI fellows as well as the residents.
