What is IMPACT?

Individualized Mentorship Program to Accelerate Cancer Training (IMPACT) is a full-time, two-year, paid post-baccalaureate (PB) research program funded by the American Cancer Society (ACS), designed to catalyze the development of a diverse cancer workforce. IMPACT PB fellows will receive individualized research experience, professional development activities, and mentorship with culturally competent mentors. The program offers structured professional skills development in scientific communication, leadership, and teamwork. IMPACT equips fellows with the necessary skills to develop cancer careers and become leaders in the fight against cancer.
